Hi God's Ambassador!! Today we are going to discuss about some vital steps towards finding a life partner. It's no doubt that in the school of finding a life partner prayer is a necessary tool, because according to Proverbs 31:10 it says "who can find a virtuous woman, for her price is above rubies" the above scripture suggest that finding a good man or a good woman can be very difficult for an ordinary individual but with God all things are possible. Some people are interested in finding the right person but on one wants to become the right person. So in this article we are going to look at some important prayers to pray that will help you find a life partner and also change you because the first assignment of prayer is to change you.

What is Marriage: Is the coming together of a man and a woman so as to become one flesh and also it's an institution ordained by God so that Godly children can be raised for him, Malachi 2:15. Marriage is a beautiful thing and honorable in all, bed undefiled. Remember marriage is not for boys and girls. So let's get to it..

Waiting upon the Lord's timing might test one's patience, but it's essential to trust that God's timing is perfect. Isaiah 40:31 assures that those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength and soar on wings like eagles. God's time is the best, most times we feel as if God is slow in response but the truth is, He is waiting for us to align with his ways so that He can reveal his act. Don't forget He makes all things beautiful in his time, not our time. Remember God is a king!!!!

Praying for character development is vital for oneself and the future marriage. This prayer seeks God's refining work in one's own character and in the character of the future spouse. It includes aspects such as virtues, emotional maturity, and spiritual growth. Galatians 5:22-23 emphasizes the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—qualities crucial for a healthy marital relationship. Always work on yourself, be the best you can because like attracts like. If you are looking for one who has good character then you yourself must possess good characters. God is not unjust!!

One of the biggest challenges we see in our society today is lack of commitment in marriage and that has birthed catastrophe leading to divorce. Two will never walk together except they agree " Amos 3:3" This prayer involves seeking God's blessings on the future marriage, asking for unity in purpose, vision, and commitment to honor God in the relationship. Ephesians 4:3 stresses the importance of making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
